Define the grain geometry

Start with a parametric shape or import an existing outline. Dimensions are carried into every linked burn.

Shape type and name

A required, unique name makes the geometry deliberate and keeps burn lineage readable.

Grain dimensions and burn limit

These values are saved with the shape and become authoritative for every web burn that uses it. For a precomputed file, dimensions already present in the file are preserved.

Stops combustion this much regression distance before complete geometric burnout. For a centred circular bore it is a radial fuel layer. For irregular ports it is an offset distance and may not leave equal wall thickness everywhere. Use 0 mm for complete modelled burnout.

Custom outline

Upload one x, y boundary point per line. Commas or spaces are accepted. Blank lines and lines beginning with # are ignored.

Precomputed geometry

Import a geometry NPZ. Version 2 files are upgraded with a confirmed quench margin. Older files use the dimensions entered above because they did not store authoritative dimensions.

Save geometry recordInputs will be validated before the grain and regression curves are saved.
